i was reading this and i was thinking, why would he wait so long into your life to ask you.... i mean, if you saw each other throughout your life, how come he didnt ask then, what would have brought it up now, he would have had to have known that you were celebrating on the wrong day, why didnt he say something then??
sorry, not trying to sound mean, just a detective mind going to work

Here is the link to obtaining a copy of your birth certificate from Kentucky. It costs $10. takes 30 days and there is certain information you need to provide to them. If you have any questions, the answers seem to be readily available at this site as well.

http://chs.ky.gov/publichealth/vital...rtificates.htm

btw :-) if you ever decide to have your horoscope cast, you will need your exact time and date of birth, so it isn't 'interesting but useless' information after all:-)!

we celebrate my grandfather's birthday on two days every year-the 26th and 27th of June...his birthcertificate says the 26th but his father says the 27th. So, I'm not sure what you can take from that...but you never know...

my brothers friend and his brothers found out a couple of months ago that they were a year older than they thought they were!

their mum had lied to the school when the emigrated to england so they could stay in education for an extra year or two.

he was so upset that he had missed celebrating his *real* 18th birthday!

a day or two in the faces of things doesnt matter that much. as long as you celebrate it and know your star sign then you'll be ok! x

okay... I have come to the decision... I WAS born on 12.22.74 12:18am. I will NOT let anyone tell me different. The whole birthday thing totally threw my world into a sprial. I understand that a day really isn't much. I am a very number oriented person. I've always loved all the 2's in my birthday. I've always loved 12 and 22. I know it's only cuz those were in my birthday, but after all these years... I see no reason to change.

My biofather and I went out and talked today for 45 minutes. We did touch on the birthday subject. He said I was right I was born at 12:18am, not 8pm at night. He still thinks it was the 23rd but he did not insist that it is. I told him that I was rather fond of my numbers, and I'd like to keep them just how they are. He said it was my choice. It's my birthday afterall.

I did have my birthchart done a few years ago, and I used 12.22.74 12:18am. The chart that was done based on those #'s sounded exactly like me. Also it paralelled parts of my life, and my personality. I believe that my birth certificate is right.

I do have a copy of my birth certificate (Thankyou so much for the link, and info for obtaining a copy. My lilbro needs his birth certificate, so that link will help us I am sure
) so I don't need to get it. We moved this summer twice in a month, and I'm still trying to get things figured out. I just don't remember where I saw it last. I do have it.

Since I couldn't find it yesterday, I was worried, maybe it did say the 23rd. My driver's license says 22nd. I assume that since that says it, it's the same as my birth certificate.

To answer a question... My mom n dad split up when I was about a year old, we lived in the same town with him until I was 3. So I know I was around him until then. We moved to another state. I saw him maybe twice from 3 to 10 when we moved back here. That year he and his parents moved to another state. I saw him again when I was 18. The next time I saw him was this year, um this summer. August maybe... ?? We never really ever talked about my birthday. I've been racking my brain, searching my memory banks to see if I could remember anything. For some reason it seems like something has been solved though. I remember something about someone saying the 23rd to me before, but I can't remember for sure. My mom passed away almost 3 1/2 years ago, so asking her questions is out. I've never really gotten birthday cards from him in the years that I remember better. Where it came from(I was asking myself the same question yesterday) was a lady I work with is friends with my dad also. I was talking about how I have my birthday off. It even says happy birthday on the schedule on that day. She's also a December baby. They both had a different date for my birthday. The one I told her, and the one he remembers.

Yeah... It's silly it effects me, but I have always been very happy about knowing my birth day to the minute. I've wondered if it was exact or not. I am here though.

you are such a brilliant and intelligent person...it was really touching to read that post..I am glad that you were able to break everything down like that, and to finally come to a peace and understanding within yourself. I am glad that you realize that the most important thing in this whole messy situation is the fact that you are here, and that you being you no numbers attached have lived a life and affected people and animals around you in profound ways..I am so happy for you, and I will have to remember to say happy brithday to you on the 22nd....

Darn. I was hoping you'd have a 2 day birthday party! Then take a break, and celebrate Christmas and New Years! All those parties in 14 days...yeah, that'd be great!

LOL, I'm teasing you, MyRage. Glad you got it sorted out.

Best-
Michele
