Samwise in a basket

Samwise loves any basket. Here he is in his favorite -- a real antique my father acquired in Alaska 70 years ago. He completely fills it up. He has to wiggle around in a circle to get in.

Well howdy there, young fella', from deep in the heart of Texas! I sorta' lost track of some members of my family. My cat-dad, Lord-of-the-Rings, was a busy guy, wasn't he?

You are from a great line of Grand Champion Turkish Vans, Ghibli. Mehmet was CFA's National Best of Breed Turkish Van for 1999-2000. My people-mom says that I am the spittin' image of Mehmet, except that I do not have the Mark of Allah on my, uhh, posterior.

We have to stay in touch, Ghibli. I look forward to hearing as you grow up that you have all those Van-traits that cause your people-mom to love you to death and want to strangle you to death at the same time. Since we Vans do not become adults until we are about 5 years old you will give her many chuckles with your kitten-games.
