No, I don't think so. I had tubes in my ears when I was a kid, but that was outpatient, I believe.

2. Are you ready for the holidays?
I need to do some wrapping!

You're looking at it - the computer!

She likes to bat an ornament, but it's my husband's, so it's okay!

1. Have you ever been admitted to a hospital? I was two months premature, so was in the hospital for 2 months, had a seizure when I was 18 months old r/t elevated temperature and was in the hospital for a few days. Believe that's all.

2. Are you ready for the holidays? I enjoy the holidays so much, but boy am I running behind!

3. What do you do most often when you are bored? I try to do things so as not to get bored, such as this, snuggle and play with my baby girl, and read

4. Do you have a nickname? some good friends call me Steph.

20. What are your plans for the upcoming week? Must send my gifts off Monday if they are to arrive sometime in Dec! Sierra's gifts should arrive as well as another I'm waiting for!

I am wanting to change Nursing companies, so I'll be working on that, finish preparing for Christmas, Sierra and I will go back home either Friday or Saturday to celebrate Christmas with family and will return on Sunday.

10:30-11:00 weeknights, later on weekends

At the doctor's office for that annual exam.

There is no way for that to be anywhere near pleasant. (It's coming up in January again, so it's on my mind...)

A bunch of meat that's probably freezer burned, pre-formed chocolate chunk cookie dough and funnel cakes that I bought from a co-worker's daughter for a school fundraiser, some quickie meals.

Yup, it's been up since Thanksgiving, and except for one bit of beads that was hanging down and too much temptation for Trent they haven't bothered it at all. Not even one ornament knocked down! I'm amazed!

Books? I rarely have time, or at least make the time for books anymore.

When I do, I like true crime/forensics particularly forensic psychology and profiling, and Anne Rice.

I can't even remember! It's been years since I've even owned a swimming suit.

Um, does microwaving pre-cooked brats for lunch yesterday count?

Actually, since Earl works at home he usually does the cooking so I can come home from work and relax.

Charmin Ultra

Nope. I don't want to know. My sister and I peeked one year when we were kids and it totally ruined Christmas. So I have absolutely NO temptation to peek!!

Earl physically put it together, but I loaded most everything on it.

18. Do you like beer?
Most beers I do. I like Canadian beer, particularly Lebatts. I also found that I really like Scottish Ale.

Um, probably nice. The nice outweighs the naughty I think. (As long as he doesn't look in IMO

)

20. What are your plans for the upcoming week?
Work. Depending on how busy we are I may take Thursday off too. Then Friday we are going up to my sister's new house for my family's Christmas.

Saturday will be a quiet day at home, probably watching the movies we gave each other for Christmas and playing with the kitties and their Christmas presents.

It's not up yet. Probably this weekend. They don't usually bother it.

Depends a great deal on my mood and energy level; the types I enjoy -- in no particular order -- are mysteries, thrillers, biographies, historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy, anthing to do with words/language...

Dinner tonight -- beef tenderloin medallions, with mushrooms and a brandy cream sauce, accompanied by broccoli parmesan and buttered noodles.

The house brand at Costco -- in the 24 roll pack

16. Have you peeked at any of your Christmas gifts?

Peeked? No. Opened? yes.

17. Did you set up your own computer or have someone do it for you?

Funny you should ask. When I got home from work tonight, my computer was all over the dining room table. It's brand new. My sweetie just put this beast together for me today. He did the hardware, and installed the operating system, browser, email client, and a couple of other things necessary to get going. I get to do all the rest of the software installation, migration of old files, configuration, etc. And what's left of my old system goes to my mother-in-law. Everybody wins.

Mostly nice, I think

20. What are your plans for the upcoming week?

I'm now finished work until January. Saturday, the only thing specifically on the agenda is my birthday dinner -- we take Dad out

. Sunday, the only thing specifically on my agenda is church in the morning. In the crevises on those days, I think I'll get some shopping done, and maybe get the tree up, certainly do some organizing on the new computer. Monday is my birthday and if anyone thinks I'm doing anything, they're mistaken

Tuesday I'll need to get cracking on my Christmas shopping. Wednesday, Thursday, the same. Friday, I need to make pies to take to dinner on Christmas day; and then Christmas Eve the evening is church. Saturday, a little Christmas sleep-in and the tree, then some time with Dad, before we head for a mid-afternoon ferry to Victoria for Christmas dinner with Rob's family, and a couple of days there.
