I've noticed in the past couple of days that Bease has been sitting in the litter box. She doesnt do it continously. Like out of no where she will go to the box and claw around as if trying to find a comfortable spot and then sit there. She never sits there for more than a minute or two. I dont know what to make of it.

If she isn't peeing or pooping she needs a vet, some cats like to play in the litterpan- Prowler is one of my new kittens and she plays in her litterpan all the time. I usually just make sure she is playing, and not blocked or anything, then I toss a toy in her direction and she takes off after it forgetting about the lovely litter that flies

I really wouldn't be too concerned. My Kesara does it all the time when she wants to hide from my DD or to just be alone (away from her sister).

I don't know what to make of it either, but I know that she is ok and she feels safe in there (she is an ex-feral...so her hiding instinct will always be there).
