The sound of jingling bells is a good sign. My niece and nephew used to listen for that sound when they were kids. (Courtesy of their dad shaking a set at midnight...
)

Also - look for piles of reindeer poop on your roof.

Oh thats cute! Just leave out some reindeer food and you'll definately find one!

We have a reindeer whistle here............just blow it and any reindeer within 100 miles will come running (or should I say flying)................(of course it's a whistle that sounds like the mating call of the reindeer, so you better run and hide after blowing it) Peek out from your window to see them!

I use the reindeer food, as well!!! Of course, my son wants to put it out December 1st! But, I tell him that he has to wait until Christmas Eve, since we really don't want any reindeer here too early.....they may not leave!!
