So today i am sitting on the couch waiting for John to get home so he could drive me to the hospital cause I fell down the stairs lol...anyhoo Im watching TV and I hear Emmet hiss...then I hear Doofus screech...then I hear Mabby wail...then all heck breaks lose and I hear things crash and everything...I try my best to "run" to the other room...not an easy feat since my foot felt like it had been shot...so i get into my bedroom and all I see is this round blur of cat.....
I yell "hey, hey hey"...and all three of them stop..panting....I look at Emmet and he has a patch of black hair in his wiskers......mabby also has black hair on her but its just a pile of it on her head...and Doofus has Emmet and Mabby colored hair all over his back........I then say "OMG guys and girl what do you think you are doing".....they look up at me like I spoiled all there fun...and all three of them went under my bed to pout....what a bunch of brats...I feel I was totally justified in stopping them...they were screeching and hair was flying everywhere...but they made me feel bad about it.....lol........
The funniest thing was that they all get into little tiffs here and there...but this was a three way rumble....now there all sleeping together on the couch...what a adorable bunch of brats.....lol

What a crazy day you've had! My goodness you must be exhausted! My kitties also have a tiff or two. With Persians they really have hair flying, just running to watch. It is usually my short haired kitties that spank the others.lol

Sorry to hear you got hurt falling down. Hope everything's okay at the hospital.

Hehehe

Sounds like you handled that perfectly:-). We have experienced similar situations here where things sort of 'get out of hand' and play disintegrates into something a little more intense, resulting in mouthfuls of fur.

One thing I have noticed - and may be part of your situation - is that if I am unwell or tired or worrying about something, things like that are more likely to happen. I know that my animals pick up on my moods and it causes them to feel stressed and more likely to engage in 'stressed' behaviour. I wonder if they were picking up on your pain and maybe even a bit of your concern about your injury while you were waiting to get to the doctor?

Just a thought, anyway:-). I am glad it is only a sprain and your 'family' is back to its harmonious co-existance.
