REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to
mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's
reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Under the cats, mostly.
I hate to say this... but now I've thought about it, I must be an exception to the rule - I could get myself lost in a phonebooth (the words of my boyfriend there, how nice
) But he's right. We took a trip to Edinburgh one year and after we'd found a bed and breakfast for the night, we went looking for dinner in the city. We tried to find the mexican we'd seen on the bus tour, but couldn't and finished up with an Indian instead. All well and good we set off home again... we knew where we were headed for... or at least I did. Well, I found the road our B&B was on - or I thought I had. I just couldn't find the place at all! WEll I was so certain I was on the right road and we wandered up and down it for a half hour (all the while my bf laughing behind my back) until he pointed out that we WERE on the right road after all. Just on the wrong side. DOH!!
