hi cat lovers . my name is moongager and i have a question for ya. i got a new kitten about a mo. ago she is 2 mo. very spoiled if i must say. i was wondering why she started curling up in my lap. purring and nursing on her leg. it seems to please her and then she flops over asleep. it is very endearing but i have never had a cat do this before. tell me what u think ok? thanks moonie

IMO... i think that she is probably not weened from her mother.. we have a dog, who is 4 years old, and ever since we got her she has sucked on a blanket to go to sleep... by the way, we got her at 5 weeks... so, she was probably not really ready to leave her momma
I agree that it does sound as if she should have been with her kitty mother a bit longer. You are now her Mommy, and This is so adorable, she is showing you how much she loves you and feels that you are her comfort and security!

well i thought that was right. she is soooo attatched to me. in faCt i have had to invent a new kitty helper. she has to be on my lap all the time so when on the computer i was having trouble typing. hard to type with a kitty in your hands sooooooo.. i took a long scarf and tied it around my neck and POOF THE KITTY CRADLE was born . hahahah so my kitty now rests in the new sling around my neck while im online. and my hands are free. hahah by the way how can i add her pic to this?? thanks moonie
