My daugher is expecting her first child, and she went today for an ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. Every time they got to the "bits" it would cross its legs and put its little hands between its legs. They said on the last one they thought it was a boy, but were not sure. Darn it! Now we have to wait another week! She is getting some test results back next week, and the doc said they would try again.

I WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!

Hold tight Grandma
It's only a week. Probably sounds like a year though.

I wish you and your daughter the best of luck either way!

When I was pregnant with Garrett he turned his back and would flip his legs open, they would poke around and get him to turn and he would cross his legs. 7 years later and not a thing has changed, he still gives me a run for my money every hour of every day and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Can't wait till I know my daughter is pregnant!!!
They are gettin' married March 19, 2005.

I want a Grandbaby I can see all the time!!
My 1st is a grandson from my son who's mother is ......hard to describe.
He is 5 yrs. old and I don't get to see him a lot.
Doesn't make much sense to me either.

How is your daughter "carrying" ?

Probably an old wives tale - but I've heard that women who carry "high" are expecting girls.

She is carrying pretty low. My yucky sister says it is a boy, and that is the only thing she is ever right about. She has a perfect prediction record as far as we can tell.

We did the wedding ring trick with both of mine and all my sister's kids and it came out true every time. I cannot think of which way it swings tells what, so that's really of no use to you is it? I think its up and down for a boy and back and forth for a girl. We used a piece of our hair to suspend the ring then let it go until it started to swing.
