Roxy has been a single cat since I got her (approximately 2.5 years ago). Sheâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s outside at least 5 hours of the day. But I'm getting ready to move at the end of January and it would break my heart if I couldn't take Roxy with me! Moving with her would mean she would have three new kitty-roommates (two female, one male). The only time she's not in my room is when I leave, so she's pretty attached to me and not the other members of my family. What should I do? Leave her or take her?!

Thanks in advance for your comments!

If you are the only one who takes care of Roxy, I don't see any problems with taking her. However, she will have to be an indoor cat in the new place just so she can get used to her new surroundings. Are the other kitty roomates indoor too and used to other cats? You will have to be very patient in the introductions specially with Roxy who's been a single cat from the very beginning.

Well, two of the cats (the females) are used to living with each other. However the male cat is a stray and we're going to take him to the vet and get him fixed up... he's old and sweet, just a little dirty. Yeah, I'll have to separate them for a while. I read in a different thread to try vanilla extract on the base of their tails and under their chins, I'll have to try this method too. Thank you Yayi!
