Finally it is cold here. This morning was in the low 40's and it was really cold, and has been so all day. We have a hard freeze warning in effect for tonight and tomorrow morning, it is going to get down to 25 for 7-9 hours
I know a lot of you are having snow and it's much colder in a lot of places that some of you are in but us Florida folks can't handle the cold very well. Up until today it has been in the 70's and 80's! It is always so hard for me to leave the house in the mornings to walk out in the cold. The good thing to this is, we live on the 3rd floor in our building. In the winter we rarely have to run the heat because everyone else around us does and it stays warm our electric bill is so low, makes up for the summer when we can't keep the place cool because of the vaulted ceilings!

I live in Miami and it is going to be in the mid 40s for tonight. That is freezing cold for us South Floridians.

I live just south of Atlanta, Georgia too - we had our first official freeze last night and it is to go into the 20s or high teens tonight. I moved here last May from Ontario, Canada. Right now - and for the last day and a half - they have been having snowsqualls and blizzards. We turned the heat on for the very first time of the season last night - I LOVE living in the south!

Hubby is a native Minnesotan, but when he was in boot camp he was stationed in Georgia. Hubby said the cold down there was bone chilling, and he had never been so cold in his life!!!!!
It's so hard for me to imagine someone from Minnesota thinking he was freezing to death in GEORGIA of all places!!!!!

Yep Georgia is a wet climate in the winter which makes for a very bone chilling winter. Thankfully we don't have that many days of this stuff. Now if it snows I know I am staying in the house
even though we don't have anything like that predicted for here.......THANK YOU GOD!

This thread made me realize how cold it is outside! I've been cooped up indoors cuz of my cold all day (except for a quick trip to get some medicine) and I just checked the temperature online - it's 35 degrees right now and is supposed to get down to 24 tonight! Talk about BRRR!!!

I just checked on an internet website and it's about 15 degrees C here so roughly 60F. It's not hot but it's definitly not cool. Quite nice weather actually. Ooops that reminds me there is some washing out on the line!

Come back, summer!
I say we all back up and go visit Danielle for the rest of the season!

Wow my Weather Bug for this area is sitting at a firm 24 degrees this morning
Where as I am freezing, my Siberians are having a ball out there playing in the cold. Glad they are enjoying it

Try going through this cold without a working furnace! My corner of the world was in the teens this morning. We finally got the furnace fixed this afternoon. Let's hear it for electric blankets and space heaters!!!
