I lost one of my babies

Two days ago my Cracker Jack died from a pyothorax (abscess of infection in his chest cavity probably caused by another cat bite). I pick up his little body from the vet clinic today. I will bury him tonight. I am so sad; I hurt; can't seem to stop crying. I just needed to share because I know that all of you care, and you know what it's like to have to say "goodbye for now" to a precious and beloved furbabe.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Cracker Jack is at the Rainbow Bridge now, completely free from pain, and knowing how much you love him and miss him.

I am so sorry you lost your beloved Cracker jack-what a creative name. He is watching you and he has become your Guardian Angel. Trust me when I say he knows how much you love him and that he knows you did everything you could to save him. You will meet again!!!

Oh,thank you all SO MUCH for responding to me. I can't express how much that means to me. And, yes, I believe with all my heart and soul that I will be reunited with Cracker again! I truly believe this (the Bible verifies this to my soul). Our Creator is good. And His promises are true. I don't know what I'd do without my faith in Him.

I read a saying in a book once which I just love and it goes like this:

"Death is not a period, only a comma"

Isn't that great? Well, anyway, you guys are the greatest and I thank you again for your kind and uplifting words and your thoughts of me and my Cracker Jack Kat lady

I am so sad to hear about little Cracker Jack. I am sorry I didn't post sooner but just now saw this. But someday you will be reunited with him again. I am crying with you now though

I'm sorry about your loss I've never had to deal with the loss of a cat before. I've lost other pets, and humans, and it always hurts.
