If I recall correctly, just before TCS crashed, several of our members had been involved in car wrecks. Well, last night on my way to Birmingham, Charlie and I became the latest members of this "club". We were sitting at a red light, it changed, and just as we started off, the car behind us plowed into us! I succeeded in dodging the small car in front of me, thank God, 'cause my Expedition would have caused her some major damage! The guy who hit me acknowleged that it was his fault, he looked away for just a second, sigh. Not major damage to mine, just a hole in the plastic part of our back bumper and some scratches, but you should see the front of his little S-10 pickup, suffice it to say that my rear end and trailer hitch did some serious damage to him! All parties were ok, though, and that's what matters, but it sure did make him feel bad that ours is less than a month old!

Under the cats, mostly.
Oh my goodness - well like you say, it's good that no-one got hurt. You know what this means though.... the catsite members are just all lousy drivers. Or at least they have lousy luck when behind the wheel of anything mobile.
Seriously though, I'm glad you're ok! NOW you know why I don't drive.

Whoa!! Cindy
..... I am thankful that You and Charlie are okay. I am sorry about the car but they can be replaced. But You and Charlie most certainly never can be replaced.

All things considered, I think that this is the case! I still have to laugh a bit when I think of the damage he did to himself, and as little as was done to mine though.

I hope this is not a sign of things to come......I didn't make it through the last TCS crash.

But I am glad to hear that no one was hurt in the accident.

Oh, Cindy, I'm so thankful you and Charlie are OK! You're so amazing to still be able to see the comical side of everything, especially when having your brand new vehicle wrecked is just one more stress you certainly did not need right now! I'm sure it will be fixed up and as good as new in no time at all! I'm just so grateful noone was injured!

Great Zot, Cindy! It never rains, does it? Glad you're OK, and only inanimate objects were hurt. Bummer to have it to deal with, nonetheless!

Amazing? Naaahh, I think sometimes its just a lack of common sense! Seriously though, it is a fact of my life that I find the humor, or the lesser evils in the things that come my way. If I didn't, I'd be crazier than I already am!

Thats just so not funny
I did what that guy did once. I only have a Suzuki jeep and at a round about i thought the guy in front had gone. Needless to say he hadnt! He was in a bl**dy big Range Rover with one of those stupid trail hitch things. Went right through my bumper! Not a mark on him and me with 300 quids worth of damage. Although my 4x4 is only little its a good job i wasnt is a car as if i had been lower to the floor it would took my front off. I now have bull bars on the front - just in case.
That'l teach me to concentrate in the mornings

(glad you was okay though)
