My kitten Metz who is nearly six months old seems to have a loose tooth. I haven't prodded it or anything, but it's pointing forward.

I was wondering if perhaps it's normal for them to loose teeth around that age. My mates say it's not normal but as most animals have more then one set of teeth I don't believe it's her only set.

So, what should I do, if it's normal do I let it just drop out, or do I take her to the vet if it's not normal?

Thanks

Owen.

Hi
Welcome to The Cat Site!!!

I don't have a lot of information about dental care for cats, but I can tell you that yes, cats do have baby teeth.

There are many wonderful experts and other knowledgeable people here who may be able to help you more.

Also, if you go to the Cat Lounge, you will be able to introduce yourself and get a big welcome from the other members!!

Hi,

That's actually normal. They loose teeth around that age, & we usually don't see it, cause they swallop it. So you don't have to get concerned
