my mum has just told me in all seriousness her new rule. the kitten is allowed in the bathroom when she is doing a number one but not a number two!

my mum hasnt gone mad, the kitten likes to follow us arond the house, even into the toilet! if we dont let her in she waves her paws under the gap in the door and cries! (the kitten, not my mum...)

the only place she wont go is the shower, far too wet. though she'll wait patiently outside to catch the waterdroplets of your legs when you get out.

maybe i'll get her back by trying to make her play with me when shes in the litter box......

Nicky i think that most of us here have their kits follow them to the bathroom like that, and Rosie and Sophie stick their paws under the door as well.

Theres no room that i can call sanctuary in my house with out one of them having to be there

Susan do you think they realise that itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a human litter box?!

Maybe they wouldnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t want to play in there if they knew!

My kitty doesnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t seem to know the meaning of the word privacy. When we first got her she didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t poop for two days and we were starting to get worried. When she did go she chose the moment when a group of my brother friends were in my room watching tv and got lots of praise for doing it. Even now she half expects s to give her around of applause for going to the loo.

Maybe sheâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s trying to give me some support?

you never know it could be!.

Rosie and Sophie can be sound asleep on the sofa beside me and no matter how quietly i get up to go to the bathroom there will be two sleepy kits following behind me by the time i'm at the top of the stairs

Awww you never know, if you ever leave home you may get another?!.

At least your playing with Maverick so as he doesn't get bored easily which is what i used to do with Rosie before Sophie came along.

heh, i was going to post a thread like this but i was too embarrased!!!
My kitty will scratch and meow like crazy if i dont let him in.
then he walks onto the bathtub and make me pat him then he slides in there..and plays.
sometimes he wants to sit on my lap but i need my privacy if its for number 2!! i dont mind him in the bathroom when im doing my business.
He even comes in when im having a bath or shower and will wait patientely on the mat

Baylee always follows me to the bathroom and the rare times that I beat her there and close the door, she sticks her little paws under or she'll just calmly sit outside.

Occasionally she'll be so sleepy that she won't be waiting for me - that's when I feel so sad!

I get an audience.. lol They make me leave the door open and the 2 girls watch.. Gibby hasn't had the opportunity to see us in the potty.. but with the Van Reputation, I want him to stay away from Jason in the bathroom.. ick! It's bad enough that Paige finds it Fascinating when men pee... she almost wouldn't leave when Jason's dad was trying to go.

At the kitty's beck and call
Tippy's the only one to follow people to the bathroom - she'd sit on the potty with you if you let her
. I'm so glad other cats are like this - we all thought her preferences were very strange!!

Whilst we're on the potty she likes to sit in the bathtub and insists on having the cold tap turned on for her. We've always tried to put her off as much as possible thinking she was a bit strange

If someone's taking a bath and leaves the door open even the tiniest bit, she curls up on the floor next to the tub and goes to sleep.

Tripod will sit outside the door and cry for me to open it. Oliver doesn't bother; he just stands on his hind legs and pushes the door open. My boyfriend would never let them in at first, but he got used to it. (not during " number 2" though - like Maverik_Kitten's mum)

My bf doesn't really like to have the kitties in the bathroom with him either, but they tend not to follow him in much. One time he was in there doing his business and Nedicks wandered in. She stood there for a second, sniffed the air, then went back out--a second later, he saw her little paw come under the door and she pulled the door shut!

Once I was sitting on the toilet (lovely visual, sorry to be so graphic) and Baylee hopped up and sat behind me... right where the toilet meets the back... I was so disturbed!

I can't decide whether that's worse or better than what Nathan used to do when we first got him--walk up to the side of the toilet and try to look in behind me. Sorry, I know that's so gross...
