I have been hearing a lot on here about the wonders of Rescue Remedy and was wondering if I could use it for the trips to the vet. Toonces turns into Miss Nasty Kitty when she goes to the vet and I am not exaggerating! I can't even get too close or watch out! The vets sure have a time with her! Patches is easy to handle at the vet but she gets so nervous that she runs what the vet calls a "nervous fever". She gets so worked up over the whole ordeal she runs a fever, her paws sweat, and the inside of her ears turn bright red. Buttons is the only one who doesn't seem bothered by the whole ordeal. So, would Rescue Remedy be a good idea to use on Toonces and Patches before I go to the vet?

Also, Buttons and Patches are still a little upset around Libby. Might I try it with them to get comfortable around Libby? Libby has been so good around them lately but when she calmly walks up to one of them to sniff hello they still go into attack mode. Of course she still has Toonces to be best buddies with.

I use it for trips to the vet, introduction of a new cat (but not a kitten) and other stressful situations. In some cats, it works well, in others there is no noticable effect. It just depends on the cat I think.
