Sad news

my step Dad sent me this thought it cute

It is with saddest heart that I pass on the following news.
Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment
community.

The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection, and
complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, two children, John Dough
and Jane Dough, who has a bun in the oven. He is also survived by his
elderly father, Pop Tart. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased
coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects,
including Mrs. Buttersworth, Hungry Jack, The California Raisins, Betty
Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies and Captain Crunch. The grave site was
piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, and lovingly described Doughboy as a
man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in
show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not
considered a very smart "cookie", wasting much of his dough on
half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still, as
a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for millions.

The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes

Fwan, the Pillsbury Doughboy is an American advertising creation - he's a character made of dough, who is used in advertisements for Pillsbury's biscuits and other ready-to-bake breads & sweet rolls. Mrs. Butterworth is a syrup character, etc.

Not certain, but,............I believe Fwan was making her own joke out of this, which in turn, is putting the joke on us, thinking she didn't know what the Doughboy was .

Oh I was so reluctant to read this thread because of what was actually in it... so glad it was just the Pillsbury Doughboy. Not that that's good news, I'm really saddened to hear that.

What I dont get is, "The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection, and complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71."

Here is a "boy" who is "71" who has a "yeast infection"???????? and their "concern" was the complications caused from repeated pokes to his belly??? I mean, really, what kind of doctor did he go to, to have done that to cure a yeast infection?? Unless it's a new method for curing one.

I think I'd sue for malpractice and definately have questioned this "boys" gender!
