This is about as close as you can get to Sam with a close up! He hates the camera.

Babygirl, you do love you some Buttercup, don't you
. You should have said something sooner...she's already in her new home...she could have been yours! I miss her and Briar terribly! Guess I'll have to search the streets of Chicago & trap some more babies to fill my "empty nest"!

Yes she's beautiful and she looks like my baby pitufo (yeah I know he's black). I wanted them to be a couple.

Why didn't you keep her?

This first one was taken when Thomas was about 4 weeks old and is one of my all time favorites of him. I was standing above him looking down as he was about to climb up on his scratching post.

And this one is Shelby when she had climbed into my daughter's backpack.

I would have loved to have kept them, but I couldn't. My cat, Abbie, is 19 years old, deaf as a doornail, and her kidneys are failing. I didn't think it would be fair to her to have two kittens running around scaring the crap out of her every 5 minutes, especially since she would not be able to hear them coming. She also hates, HATES other cats. It broke my heart to place them, but my first loyalty is to my girl who's been with me for almost two decades. I found great homes for them, and they are both thriving and loving their new mommies & daddies.

I'm sorry that Abby is sick, I'm glad that you found a great home for the two kittens. Do you have more pics of Buttercup? Can you send them to me? Pitufo enjoys looking at her pics.

Mack - My very best friend in the world.

A bit on the over-exposed side. Mack was walking towards me to give me a kiss.

I love the big ears.
He's since grown into them.

I have lots of pictures of both Briar and Buttercup. How about if I work on a thread for them, then I can show off my beautiful girl, and you can get your Buttercup fix?

I also have a couple more entries for the close-up thread. I was looking at some pics I had of my foster babies from last summer, and thought I'd share them:

Romeo Montague (as a tiny baby when I first got him)

a bit later...

later still...

Boo Radley (I don't have as many close-ups...he was much more camera shy than his brother):

Ooh...more babies I miss! Fostering is hard! I had three other babies, but there's lots of pictures to sort through. I'll post them later.

I like this one of Amad...it is a little fuzzy, but it really shows his sweet personality!
