First hairball

When might a kitten upchuck its first hairball? My Lucius who is a bit over 4 months occasionally makes the sounds, and he is a good groomer and has night thick hair.

Just wondering what to expect, and how and when one decides later to use a hairball remedy.

I think Kumbulu is the kitten expert. Hissy is also very well-informed on cats in all areas. You could PM one of them or wait until another expert comes along with advice. I'm not sure about that myself so sorry I can't help!

I'm not an expert, but I can tell you that it was about that time when Trent had his first hairball. He's VERY prone to hairballs, medium/long haired. He had his first one at well under 1 year. Don't remember the exact age, though...sorry!
