It wasn't just us

My roomate is part of the forum "Bonsai Talk"....and there server crashed the same night as TCS did...except instead of losing 5 months worth of stuff...He says they have lost 7 Years worth of stuff.....Holt crap huh???....It was a virus I guess.....They still are not up and no one on that forum knows whats going on......Just thought it would be something you guys would be interested in, and to say even though i was one of the great casualties of the Great TCS blackout of 2004..I am glad you guys got it back up...And thanx to Anne for going house....working her butt of..and in the end fixing the site.....To bad the same cannot be said for "Bonsai Talk"

Seven years?! Omg that's heartbreaking! Makes me a feel a little better that we weren't the only ones though.

7 years!!! OMG that would be simply too much. But Bonsai Talk??? Did they lose seven years of trees?

It's semi sweet, but I would like to say that the TCS members would have no problem there, we are all to good of friends to give up...
I hope the Bonsai Tree can come back up, and hope it's members are as wonderful as TCS's are

yeah 7 years worth of bonsai advice and pictures of trees and such

wow! that is alot of stuff to lose!

That is A LOT to loose... I wonder if there might have been other forums crashing that night?

Thats a good thought....All my roomate knows is that there was some sort of virus...and that it was the same night as out crash.....and that they have potentially lost 7 years...but thats all he really knew.......oh and that they are still not up

Those guys never heard of "backups?"

They may have had backups but what if the computer had the virus also in all of the backups??
7 years... i only started using the internet for 6 years now :\\
