I was just wondering if I am the only one here who loves the original Mario games, like Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3 that you play on the original Nintendo system? I remember playing those games as a kid and loved them. I hate the new video games that have today, they all make me get dizzy and I just end up with a headache
Anyway, I found a Nintendo emulator for the computer awhile back and was able to play a few of the games, but the emulator didn't work to well so I ended up uninstalling it. Tonight we were at Best Buy and my boyfriend bought me one of those Gameboy Advance Sp game systems and the Super Mario World and Mario 3 game for it as well
They are identical to the original ones. He made me wrap it up and I can't open it until Christmas though

I feel kinda of silly being that I am 25 and getting a gameboy for Christmas, so I was wondering if I was the only one who missed that stuff? Maybe I am just trying to relive my childhood or something

Someone posted a link on here a few months back to kind of original games - I must admit I do like them better without all the hi tech graphics and stuff.

I really used to enjoy playing Frogger too...anyone remember that one?

My favorite Nintendo game is Zelda! And my favorite Zelda game was Zelda 3 - Link to the Past in the SuperNES.

The Mario series are fun but frustrating!

I like the original Donkey Kong. I remember having the double screen orange game and watch when I was aobut 10. I loved 'clocking it'.

I hung onto my Sega Master System for ages, even though I have a GBA and Playstation II. Eventually, I gave it to my housemates nephews and they think it's great! When they play it, the music from Alex the Kidd brings back memories. Oh dear, I'm starting to sound like my Grandmother LOL!

I like the old Mario games, but I like new games too. It's cool to see my nephews playing the old Mario games on their Gameboys though. It brings back memories.

Oh I LOVE old computers and original games! I am addicted to collecting as many as possible!

I have bought the ZX Spectrum, the ZX81 (the really small one!!), a VIC20, a Commodore C64, an Amiga 500 and 1200 and am aiming to complete my full collection of Gameboys!! (maybe Christmas will help!

I am struggling to find the SNES and the other old Nintendos!

Under the cats, mostly.
Heehee I'm afraid most computer games lost me after Pong. I do miss the older games though - I really miss when my little bro had the SNES
I don't mind playing the newer games, but I just can't play them for so long. I guess that's a good thing really. I'm enjoying Burnout3 - I'm very good at the crashing the cars bit.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
I used to like those too, Tanya!
Tetris is the only game I ever was really good at! I still have my little handhelp Gameboy, and Tetris was my only game. Haven't played it in years. Believe I will try to find it when I go home for Christmas!

Wow! I am so glad I am not the only one! I don't feel like such a geek anymore
I almost picked out Tetris last night as well. I was suprised there were so many games for it
I tried all night last night to get him to give in and let me play with it, he is holding firm on making me wait until Christmas.
I think the trick is going to be to buy him something good and telling him he caqn't play until Christmas unless he gives in on my present, then he can have his
