We got our tree

Well we got our tree today. Its just a little 4ft one. So far Meishka has sniffed at it but hasn't done much more... well she rubbed her face on it but she does that to EVERYTHING...

I also wanted to add that her acne looks a little better. Her chin isn't red anymore. She still has some black heads and she's lost fur. She's been on the antibiotic day and a half now. She has quite a few doses left so hopefully it cleans up. I am still washing her face with the acne wash too.


OH! And I rescued a kitty from a tree and took him back home. I'm so proud of myself.

Woohoo! Yay for trees (both putting them up and rescuing cats from them)! And I'm so glad Meish's face is lookin better... you must be breathing a sigh of relief!

Yeah. Meish's acne does look a little better. We still call her pizza face though (but only behind her back because we don't want to hurt her feelings)

Care to share how you came about rescuing a cat from a tree?

LOL. We got home with our christmas tree and I could hear a little girl calling her cat and saw the cat run across the lawn. The little girl simply went home so I finished helping hubby with getting our tree from the car and then I went to get the cat. I saw him in the tree so I got up a little in the tree and just kept saying "here kitty" and he came close enough so I could get him then I just carried him away home. He was soooo pretty. Fluffy and orange. It was a big tree he was in but he was scared to get down. I was a little cautious because I didn't know how he'd act to a stranger. But then he just let me hold him and carry him home. He ran right inside when his owners opened the door. LOL. Too cold out for little kitties tonight.

LOL. I don't see many lose cats here so when I saw that cute little critter I just had to go get him and take him home. He was just sooo pretty.

I'm so happy Meishka's face is clearing up so nicely! Did we ever discuss the use of ceramic bowls for her as opposed to plastic?

DawnofSierra: Meish has 2 sets of ceramic bowls that I clean in the dishwasher. She's never had plastic bowls so I'm still at a loss as to what caused the acne. Excessive face rubbing?? She'll never stop that lol.
