My birthday card

I finally got time to scan this. For a guy who claims to not have a clue, he found the perfect card for me.

I got another new pair, today - red patent-leather pumps, with 3" heels and cutouts. Now, I need to find a purse, before next Saturday.

I have a student, Cetti, who is constantly buying shoes. I keep telling her I know somebody who is a kindred soul! I bought four pairs of shoes (actually one pair of shoes, one pair of sandals, and two pairs of sneakers) this past year, and that was a lot for me! My husband almost fell over in shock! He knows me as somebody who won't buy shoes until the ones she owns are unwearable.

Bill's company Christmas party is next week and I plan to wear my red designer suit. I usually wear black shoes with it but, red ones look SO much better. They were on sale, too - just $20.00!

Red shoes? Not purple? (I would be all over purple shoes with a red suit. Very chic.)

I wouldn't know where to store them, and would be too lazy to change the contents of the purses! We have about 25 sets of king-sized sheets (my m-i-l's favorite gift to us), and guess how many I use: four (two winter sets, two summer sets). I might be able to use them all if I live for another 50 years.

My mother's thing was towels. She'd buy at least two sets of towels, per month. For years, I never bought any, because Mom had to make room in the linen closet, for the new ones and gave me the hardly-used old ones. Mom always bought thick, expensive ones, too.

and, the shoes.. wow! i love them... although, heels... im not too great in them! I have a ton of shoes also... a few heels... small ones though.. and a ton of running shoes... little white shoes... boots... and, flip flops... probably nothing to your collection though...

although, my brother... probably is close on your tail!!! Everytime we go shopping he buys shoes... and i am not kidding... i think he has about 30 pairs of just basketball shoes.. its crazy!
