I'm thinking about getting a cat, and I remember reading in a magazine a few months ago that Rexes are active pets that enjoy playing with their human(s).

I was trying to research both breeds on the internet but as far as behavior goes, most descriptions are the same. If any of you know what the behavior differences are, or how either act, feel free to leave a comment!

I have two cats at my dad's house (I don't stay there very often) and both have grown quite aloof and indifferent towards me. I would really enjoy a furry companion that would actually LIKE/WANT to play (or spend time with) me.

Feedback appreciated

Thank you Pinkdaisy! And sorry for posting in the wrong forum, I didn't know that the breeding corner would be more appropriate...^__^;

Devon Rexes and Cornish Rexes are quite similar when it comes to temperment. I've never heard anyone pinpoint any particular differences. I have two Devon Rexes at home and they are really great companions. They're playful, curious, social and they love to cuddle... When I talk to Cornish Rex owners they give the same description of the Cornish Rex so it's mostly the looks that differs.

Sol-That's basically what I've turned up on the internet, but the websites always say they are vastly different. I can see the differences in appearance, but most descriptions of their behavior are virtually the same.
