Hi, just a vent and whine here, would anyone care to pass me some cheese to go with it? I was SO excited today because my new DSL was supposed to be hooked up, so after being on pins and needles most of the day because I was waiting for the "green light" so that I could hook it up. I was told that it would be up by 5pm, called and was told, its hooked up, go for it.....only to find that 1. its not hooked up 2. they aren't sure what is wrong 3. they won't file a "repair report" until after midnight because "its possible that they COULD be working on it till then " OK, so why didn't they just tell me the truth the first one or two times I called and tell me to wait until tomorrow to try to set it up, now I am feeling betrayed and WILL stay up till after midnight just to see if it is on, and if it ISN'T, you can bet I will be on the "help" line pronto....grrrrrr, why can't people just be honest the first time? Thanks for listening to my gripe....I hope this isn't the start of a long downhill battle....I had to sign a contract for a year......
