We just bought the new improved version of the Animal from Dyson today, it was $550. I can't wait to play with it, to bad we don't really have carpet yet, can't wait to get carpet installed in my room.

Does it work just as good on hard wood floors?

I've got plenty of plush carpet for you to vacuum!!! Let us know how much you REALLY love it after you've played around with it.

You know what gets rid of vaccuums fast? Sucking up cat litter, that killed our Hoover, it started smoking! LOL!

A high end vaccum cleaner that has a version called The Animal, it is perfect for pet owners and supposedly sucks up fur like no tomorrow. No bags, no loss of suction. Everyone seems to love it!

Ohhhhhh, I'm jealous too! I put one of those on my Christmas list and was laughed at.

I didn't know cat litter would kill a vacuum. Maybe that's why mine sounds funny.

Put me on the jealous list. I might actually see a use in vacuuming if I owned one. I get so frustrated with my normal vacuum. Even though it works pretty well, I hate emptying the canister. It almost creates more of a mess. I saw the Dyson at Target recently. Even there it wasn't cheap.

Ok we have had our dyson for about six years now and lets say it is the most wonderful vacuum cleaner but in the last three months we have had to replace 3 parts and just today the bit connecting the hose broke off. It's only $60 to replace that part though. So hopefully we will get that before christmas so we have a clean house. I must say my Nana has a $50 vacuum cleaner and it seems to have more 'suck' then our dyson, at the moment, and our dyson was over $1000!
