How many December babies do we have?

Myself personally I've only heard people call babies born in December, December babies. I've never heard anyone say 'January babies, June babies, October Babies' etc..

Since I am a December baby, and so is my lilbro, and a few other people I know... I was wondering how many of you were also. I know that I can look it up, but it's more fun to have people post about it... and besides, we get new members everyday, and not everyone has their bday listed... at least I don't think everyone does.


BTW, HAPPY BDAY TO ALL DECEMBER babies.

Oh yeah, one of my TCS friends is a December baby as well.

OH YEAH, How do you feel about being a December baby? I was born on the 22nd, three days before Christmas. My lilbro is the 29th... 4 days after. Imagine how our Decembers were.

In ways I hate it cuz I always wanted an outdoor bday party with icecream cake and a swimming pool. We could do the icecream cake, but not many people wanna eat a lot of icecream when it's colder outside then it is in your freezer. I also hated getting all my gifts at ONE time of year. I also hated (don't mean to be selfish) people giving a christmas/bday gift. I'd rather get a 'happy birthday' and have someone be nice to me that day then to get a gift for both. I don't expect gifts for my bday cuz everyone's got family to think about... they don't have to 'say' it's for both cuz usually it's an afterthought... LOL It's cool though, I've started giving those people birthday/christmas gifts too LOL

My husband and I both are december babies - he on 6th and me on 8th.

Yeah February baby doesn't work so well... quite the mouthful!

I always felt bad for you December babies, especially the ones close to Christmas... seems like you could get gyped on presents. On the other hand, if you were closer to the start of the month, if you didn't get one of the things you were asking for, maybe you had a chance to get it for Christmas?

My daughter was supposed to be a December baby - she was meant to be born on the 26th - but she was lazy and couldn't be bothered to put in an appearance . Eventually she was turfed out (forcibly) on January 8th - and let everyone know she wasn't happy about it . She says she's glad that she hung on a bit longer, she didn't want her birthday to be the day after Christmas.

I have never had cause to mind. My family were always very careful to keep the two celebrations separate, even though they were close together.

The only time I got combined gifts was when there was something special that was really too big for one occasion -- then having two occasions close together was actually a bonus!

I never had a birthday cake, because it was too close to Christmas to have yet another baked sweet in the house on top of everything else, but you know, I never cared, because while I like cake, there are things l like lots more -- and in its place I always got the dessert of my choice, as fancy as I wanted.

These days, I can manage not to be working on my birthday, because the school closes for the holidays at least a couple of days before Christmas, and I just tack on a day or two.

I guess it would be pleasant to have a celebration of my own some other time in the year, but it's not that big a deal -- especially as the cats always have help from their Dad and Grampa to fuss over Mum on Mother's Day.

Mine's the 7th. I was born on my grandfather's 55th birthday. My oldest son was due on Christmas but, he wasn't born until Jan 8th (Elvis' birthday). No, I didn't name him "Elvis".

Another December baby here. I was born on the 13th. My mother used to tell me I was born on Friday, but it wasn't true. Maybe she was just confused since I was born early Saturday morning. I did turn 40 on Friday the 13.

I can't say I envy any December b-days! I like mine right where it is, Sept 25th, exactly 3 months before Christmas

I have a friend though, hers is CHRISTMAS day!!! And as if that wouldn't be bad enough... she is a twin!
Can't imagine that being fun as a kid!

OUCH!!!! A twin on christmas?? So glad I'm not a twin on that day.

I am a December baby ... born on December 25th too many years ago now. My husband and my mom really do try to keep the two occasions separate and my husband always either takes me out to eat or cooks for me (a rare treat, I'll tell you) and buys me my favorite old perfume and bath powder. My mom always makes me a cupcake and gives me a gift card at my favorite store.

I like my birthday September 26 but I have a friend who was born on Dec. 25 and he told me that his Christmas gift was also his birthday gift.

Very similar to my daughter then (dec 26th due, Jan 8th born). She feels a strong connection to Elvis because of that. How old is your son - my daughter will be 18 this January.

Richard will be 30. Gawd, that makes me feel old!

30! Wow - time passes so quickly doesn't it - they don't thank you for reminding them that you remember all the things (cute and not-so-cute) they did when they were little My step-son is 25 - I raised him since he was 4, I can't believe he's teaching other people's kids now!

I had two very good friends, they were brother and sister. They made me a card that said 'Merpy Birthmas' LOL
