Christmas Secrets

I must tell someone..Jon had the idea that for Christmas for our grandparents, parents and of course, my best friend, we should have a family picture taken. He threatened to staple my lips shut if I blabbed and I am a terrible secret keeper, but I have done really well and not told a soul. You all are safe because you aren't related and don't know my family. But I am so excited! We had them taken last Saturday and go pick them up a week from this coming Saturday. I can't wait to see them!! They took one of all of us in a portrait like setting, then one of me and the boys, one of him and the boys, one of the boys by themselves and then the last one they had my oldest lay on his stomach on the table, my youngest kind of laying over him then Jon and I sitting on either side of them.

I know everyone will be totally thrilled about the pictures. Jon and I have been together for 3 years now and everyone is just waiting for the whole marriage proposal to come through. Maybe one day, although Im not in anymore of a hurry than he is.

Sheesh! I feel better now. Nobody tell! Tis a secret!!

YAY!!! I love secrets your secret is safe with me - it would take me months to track down a member of your family from all the way over here

Well he didn't see anything so the jig isnt up. He just came in badgering me about what number he has for racing this coming season.

I will let you all see when I get them back. I can imagine I wont be walking away with just the package picture they take. I definitely want the one of my three handsome guys together.

Yay thanks for telling us! I love secrets too... *I* won't tell... but I do enjoy a little chocolate to help keep my mouth closed!

I was thinking today since I opened my big mouth that we will probably get them back, I will have some strange piece of hair standing straight up and look like a total dork then be too embarrassed to post them! lol.

I called today to see if maybe they had gotten them back early but no..I can't wait to see them. Only 7 days left!

Sounds like a great idea to me. I hope that I get to see them too....

Guess what's ready for pickup???!!!!

Gonna go get them in about an hour. I called and the lady said they looked really good. I asked her if she was just saying that and she said they seriously look really good! All I have to say is they darn well better be. I've done really well and not told a soul (except for you guys!)

Please post them! I think that's a really good idea. My sister does it every couple of years, and I love getting the family portraits in the mail!

What pictures?, i don't know a thing?

I had to take a picture of them to get them on here. The quality isnt all that great, they look better in "real life" so to speak.

I am going back for the rest when I have the money to buy more since they are $20 a sheet. My charge card is about maxxed out as it is so I didn't want to push it. The rest turned out wonderfully, I want one of each of the others I didn't get. I am hoping once Jon sees these, he will go back and get the rest for me! The only one that didn't turn out was the one of Jon and I together he didn't smile and as predicted, my hair is contrary in that one.


Here is the package picture..It's not what I would call wonderful, but it will do well enough. At least we are all looking in the same direction!



This is the one I like better, but only could buy the 8x10 of it--for now!



I think I've got the most handsome set of guys ever!
