I don’t think there’s a thread about this but my apologies if its been done before…

Has anyone got any links to any websites with projects for cats? E.g. scratching posts, cat toys, cat treats etc?

Or does anyone have any easy-ish ideas of stuff to make? I get bored easily and like to make stuff for maverick who will occasionally even play with it if I’m lucky!

Got a few scratching post websites to start the ball rolling:

http://www.furr-angels.com/build_a_cat_tree.htm
http://jj.cartah.washington.edu/cats...cgi?01+09+08+1
http://annelisabeth.com/oldsite/cat1.htm -- loads of good links. Been using this as inspiration for my new cat palace!

And some cat toys:

http://www.geocities.com/thixle/main.html

Or do a search on www.craftser.com

I need more ideas than catnip mice!

Here's a very easy project for ya! Take a 1-2 foot piece of a feather boa, a wand and a bead that will fit over the end of the wand. Glue it all together with super glue. I paint the wand with children-safe paints. If you make these, put them away when not in use or your cat will slowly eat the feathers.

Can you knit?! I have tonnes of patterns that include knitting! I'll have a look through my books and sketch books (or invent something for you!)

What level of craft are you looking at? What can you do? Hand stitching, machine sewing etc - it might give us all a bit more of an idea!

Where would you get a wand? Like a child's wand from a halloween costume or something? I do have a boa!! I would like to try this..
