Hi...

My cat is still agitated from yesterday. I am concerned.

I don't know what is wrong. Is she getting psychotic on me?

Anyway, I wondered if any of you have tried Bach's Rescue Remedy on your kitties..... I don't want her drugged, I just want to be able to take the edge off a bit for her if possible until she can calm down.

Thanks.

Yes, I've used it before on my cats when we fly (unfortunately I still have to fly 2 more times before we move back east) and it works. My friend use it on her kitty by putting 3-4 drops in her water dish everyday for a week and that worked. It's not a drug but all natural and I feel better about that.

Thank you Frannie.

The alcohol content does not hurt them?

No and I've never had a problem. Been using it for years and take it with me to cat shows as sometimes new kitties are a little on edge.

I dont' even put it in the water. I just put 4 drops on the tongue. When I do need it, I don't have time to wait for them to drink a whole bowl of water for it to kick in. I also don't use it all the time. I use it only when they need it.

I've also used it in times of stress. I find it difficult to put it on their tounges so I put the drops in a tiny amount of wet food. They eat it right up!

I have used other natural "stress remedies" which never worked. Has someone used others with no effect and then used Bach's successfully?

The only other one I have tried was pet happy from pet co. It didnt work worth a darn but the rescue remedy seemed to help quite a bit.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you guys know that it is not just the alcohol content that works to calm them...in the Bach's?
