Will try my best!

Am worried she’ll just ignore it though after all bf’s hard work. Or she’ll be too fat/lazy to get onto it!

I could always store handbags on there I suppose…

That's something we are going to do when we buy a house! I think those are so neat!
And I'm sure a 8 month old could climb it!!!!
Just make sure the runway is secure and wide enough that your kitten can rest comfortably!
We'll need pics when its all done!

It's been a dream of mine to have a room like that, I'm not sure about having an entire house with the cat walks but a room would be cool. But first I have to buy a house and that is a ways off.

That is soo cool.. Jason and I are thinking of doing something similar (though not either so colorful or expansive, or for Paiges' sake, as High off the ground) for our girls when we're in our new home

ideally its gonna be a prettier, pinker version of this. heard somewhere that pinks and reds are cats favorite colours so it'll fit into my decor luckily!

http://www.74ghia.com/cats/html/intro.html

not too sure if i've got the space to build a tunnel/ramp though. hopefully she'll be able to get up onto it from my dresser or climbing up the scratching post.

going to start next week. Bf wants it to be done by xmas so kitty will have something to play with and not be so stressed with all the house guests.

Oh, those lucky, lucky kitties!

My cats would absolutely adore a home like that. We have talked about giving them some sort of access up high especially as we have 9' ceilings and a partial open concept but this looks like something that we can do. I really love the house and the decor too - although I know my husband would find that a little over the top:-). Thanks so much for posting that link.

I've seen those people on television. There's also a movie that's been on IFC lately about unusual houses. They're featured on that too. Can't remember the name of it though. There's the cat house, the man who lives on a houseboat in southern Louisiana, a woman who lives in a tree house in Hawaii, a guy who has an "automated" house, and a couple in Kansas who live in an abandoned missle silo. Very unusual.

There used to be an indoor mini-golf place here that had high cat walks for the owner's kitties. His walks were screened in so the cats couldn't jump down on his patrons.

Good luck with your construction!

my cats would love it!

Pity we are renting, otherwise I'd try to find someone to design something like that for me! It would be awesome!!!

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at - but it's awesome! I'd be worried about a cat flying and jumping on my head, but that's just me! Although, would you cat ever cuddle with you if they had the option of playing around on the walkway?

The people who own the house seem really cool, especially for doin this!

The movie is HOME MOVIE. It's on IFC right now and will be on again at 1:00 CST.

I found that site some time ago. It is one neat house! I recall they were working on getting access through a wall to the outside. Guess I better check and see if they've updated the place!
