Ah yes, I see it now! I thought I had the brightness turned right up, but I think my son has been playing with the controls again
It still doesn't really look all that spectacular though to be honest. I've got something caught on film that's a lot brigther than this - if you like I'll try and get it scanned for you (this is the real pain of not having a working scanner at home though) - and I'll get it posted. It's also perfectly circular. Things like this are very easily explained as light reflecting off airborne dust or water droplets. Light reflected off such objects will looks like the perfect circle regardless of the shape of the dust or water yadda yadda... The circle is nature's creation after all. Have you ever seen reflected light flare as a square? Even a camera flash doesn't do that. I still think that orbs are incredibly dodgy things to state as being supernatural, because there are so many explainations. You said that you kept your cameras very clean... well that's as maybe, but the cause doesn't have to be on the lens. i'll see.... if you go to www.ghoststudy.com
, they have a gallery of all sorts of creepy photographs - and several orbs too. There's an unbelieveably pretty one of a graveyard in the daylight, and it is just choked with orbs. What caused that? Water droplets in fog. Very pretty, but very normal. Even the one that I have, I'm putting down to water in the air (how can you not put it down to that when you're livingin Scotland - there's ALWAYS water in the air here - it's called rain
) You know that they've even come to the conclusion that skin flakes can cause this effect too?
