Aristotle is 6months old and his tail is 14 inches long. I'm wondering if that is from his Angora mother.

Lots of fancy footwork here avoiding that tail - or Ari completely as he likes to lay in the middle of whereever we need to walk!

for him - tell him we still think he's the best
I wish I could say better, but he is still being very shy. I just don't get it. He took to Nakoma so fast and Nakoma is bigger than him. I guess he could sense that Nakoma is older. Boris sees this cute, blue eyed, spotted cub walking around and may feel he has been replaced. All I can do is keep holding him and telling him he is still my big boy

Hmmm, yes, but Nakoma is another bobcat, and the cub is a cougar which will potentially be bigger than Boris and I'm guessing in the wild would be a dominant species. Could that have something to do with it you think???

It is possible however, it isn't so much that Boris doesn't like her, I think he is just plain upset with us. I do have great news however, Boris just ate a whole chicken leg
Normally he would eat 3 at a time, but this is a good start
Here are a few more pictures

Hmmm, is this my bed or the litter box

Don't you like my long tail?

Sleepy cougar girl

Oh Im glad to hear Boris is doing better.

Thats wonderful news to read.

As for visiting your babies I still think it would be neat....license or not.
I dont know that I would be brave enough to pet one of your beauties anyways but I totally understand Why you cant let anyone touch them.
Liability....But I still think the kids would love to see them up close. Im just not sure timewise how far away you are from us. Our zip is 44109.....maybe I can mapquest it and see???
I have four at home.......three schooling and one attends a private school in our area...Heritage Christian. My youngest is almost 2 and having none of that.
He plays while we school.
We went to LakeFarm Park yesterday and they got a kick out of the farm animals.
I have some real animal lovers in my home.....

I love the newest pictures you posted as well...Carmella is such a doll..love the snoozing photos. Why the little built in wall in the litter box? For her to lean against??

Is there a way we can get/give emails without posting it to the world??

Liz

Actually, I have the wall around all 7 of our litter boxes. They are for the bobcats who, unlike our domestic furry friends, do not squat when they pee. They like to stand and just spray against something, which was the wall behind the box. So, I put up these panels made out of vinyl sheeting on the wall and they hang down to the inside of the litter box. So, when they pee on the vinyl, it just runs inside the box and the vinyl is easy to wipe clean.

John, your felines are absolutely beautiful and they all seem to have such personality! I've been captivated by this thread when I laid eyes on those pictures of Boris and Amber back in page one. Aurora, Nakoma, LilRoar and Carmella are gorgeous as well.. sorry if I've missed out anybody. You really take good care of them
Kudos to you for your dedication!

See Boris? Daddy and Mommy still love you!
You can teach Carmella all sorts of neat things! You can also get in trouble and blame her...

Boris? Can you give a talk to my Aristotle about catching amphibians? He has been catching frogs in our damp (way damp) basement. How can I convince him they don't taste as good as his chunky chicken in gravy cat food?

My wife and I call Carmella our little terrorist. My gosh is she full of energy, but she can be such a little lover as well. Purring and giving lots of head bumps, rubs and cougar wet head licks
Yes, Boris is back to his normal self again eating like crazy. I think I am going to need to start raising chickens to feed all these guys
