I was just notified that dimebag Darrell of Pantera and Damageplan was shot and killed this evening at a club in Ohio during a performance. More can be read here:

I read that yesterday too... I was shocked.

my poor bf is so upset.. I really respected dimebag darrell but I think he was one of bf's inspirations in life. I heard on the news this morning but he had gone to work. He called around 8 to tell me that he had heard and he was very upset.

Hummmmm....I´m not fan of Pantera, I like so much the Heavy Metal...
I agree 100% with Catherine, There´s not should be ANY Violence in any show or something!!!!!

It's so sad. I'm a Pantera fan.

Its been a real rough day for a lot of us Metal fans. Just sitting here with one of the greatest metal musicans around gone and having a empty feeling. I've been talking to people from canada and europe since this has happened... its been amazing too see how much of a band had that much influance on a population, but never getting the glamour or the praise that these "flash in the pan" artists get.

This is going to be a long long few days...

Oh no! I am a Pantera fan, and have a strong appreciation for all of their individual talents. That's awful! I hadn't heard anything about that. I wonder if my brother knows...I'll have to call him.

Cat (John Brooks) Vinnie Paulâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s drum tech, is expected to be released from the hospital tomorrow.
