Hey everybody!
Unfortunately, the original "Thomas and Cooper" thread got blown away with the 2004 board storm. I still have all the pictures and am going to re-create the thread, but all the stories and funny moments that I've written about over the last few months are lost. They still live in my memory somewhere, but my memory isn't so great anymore.
So without further delay.................
Introducing Thomas and Cooper: Born July 30, 2004.
Their mom, Abby was found wandering a deserted street, alone and pregnant. She was very sweet and VERY hungry! My oldest daughter brought her home and about 4 weeks later, she gave birth to these two beautiful boys.
Abby and her big belly about 2 days before she went into labor.
However, Abby also had a third kitten a full 24 hours after she had Thomas and Cooper. Unfortunately, that kitten was breach, and became stuck in the birth canal. When the kitten was finally born, she wasn't breathing. I tried everything to get her breathing, but she had been without oxygen too long and I couldn't save her. She looked exactly like Cooper except that her black markings were a little different. I had planned to name her Maggie Moo because she looked like a little black and white cow. Maggie is now at the Rainbow Bridge, happy and healthy, and probably watching her big brothers grow and flourish.
The boys were born at 4:45 and 5:30pm on July 30, 2004.
Can you see Thomas in this picture? A few minutes after he was born, he climbed up on his mommy's back and went to sleep.
Here's Cooper a little while after he was born.
