My "little girl" Maine Coon is nearly one year old and now weighs nearly 15 pounds. She may be a tad overweight, ( I am not sure) but her mother was very large too. I switched her from Royal Canin kitten food to their Maine Coon food a month ago. I always just let her free feed. I give her about 6 oz. ( which is the suggested amount based on her weight) in the morning and it is all gone by 10:00AM. So she has no food the rest of the day until I give her a small portion of wet food around 7:00PM. My question, do most other cats seem to gobble up their main meal in just 3 hours? Do you think she is hungry the rest of the day?

Maine Coons are large cats. So don't let her weight throw you. So long as you are feeding her according to the recommended portions and she is maintaining her weight, she's doing fine. The vet will let you know if she is overweight.
