Do you find people during the holiday season friendlier or grumpier??

Honestly - it depends on the people and the day. For some reason this season I am grumpier, but normally I am chipper about the holidays (and everything else). Overall, I think most people tend to be more cheery.

Both... sometimes they're friendlier and wish you a Merry Christmas or something like that... other times they're stressed and battling crowds in the mall.

friendlier.. but most stressed and easier to snap.. but in general, unless you are fighting at the stores, they seem more pleasant.

I've found them grumpier this year!. Take a girl i work with, i was telling her that i was going for my turkey next week and she said "Oh i'll just be getting a chicken".

She's known for being miserable and i used to always invite her out with my friends on a friday but she wouldnt come so now i don't bother asking her anymore!.

I think it depends on the person and what's going on at any given moment. In the midst of the shopping crowds, cheer can be in short supply, but remove that stress, and on the whole I think people are pretty cheerful.

I worked retail for quite a few years, and it always seems that (unfortunately) the holidays brings out the worst in people
So I would have to say grumpier

Generally happier! Here in NZ we don't have all those fights you hear about over shopping!
But if you have heard of one here, I will eat my hat!

I would say on the overall grumpier. It's too bad too but I do think more people find the holidays a stressful time than enjoy it.

My gosh I will never forget one Dec 24th I was out on my bike and the drivers were driving so nutty, I thought it was me but then this other bike rider came up beside me and commented on it. We figured it was stress and alcohol.

Definitely grumpier and more stupid because they're so distracted. It's really irritating driving during the holiday season.
