I'm so glad to see the forums back
Our Reintroduction...
Comere is my kitty -- he's a 17 year-old mushpot kitty who loves attention and sitting on my lap (and anyone who will pet him). He's the best cat, has always adapted well to change, is very friendly beyond belief. Even people who meet him the first time, people who don't like cats all that much, love him. He's a hard kitty not to like.
His official name is "Comere" (like saying "come here" quickly) but he has also been called Big Guy, Great White and The White Wonder. More recently, his nickname has been "Old Man".
Since photography is one of my many hobbies, here's a couple of photos of him:
I'm almost 35, so taking his age into account you can see he's been with me my entire adult life. He's been with me through my first husband and divorce, my second marraige (which is wonderful) and the birth of my daughter, many apartments until finally settling in our house, and all the major life changes that occur between the ages of 20 and 30. He's an amazing guy, and it sometimes makes me sad to know he's getting up into his elderly cat years.
