I've been writing to the cat site for help, I've been posting threads for help, but my problems have yet to be resolved.

1. When I post I used to have a checkmark next to what I posted or posted on.... I no longer do.

2. I used to click on the User Control Panel and it automatically brought me to all threads that had any activity on that I was a part of.....it no longer does.

Can someone please help me straighten these problems out??? Thank you so much!

Still waiting, someone please help me. The only way to figure out where I'm replying or posting is to go through each thread one at a time, till someone helps me. I'm going a little crazy

Wow, I didn't know there was any other way to do it. Let me know if this old shortcut gets fixed.

Cheryl,

You are talking about functions that no longer exist because, remember we went back in time? It was only recently that Anne upgraded the forums with all the tricky stuff. When we came back online, anything done within the last 6 months does not exist. It is that simple. If you want to keep track of your threads, you will have to subscribe to each one and get an email notification about them. At least until Anne has the time to get up to speed and get the forums all squared away- there is still much to do-

I am not sure exactly what it is you aren't seeing. Please email me ([email protected]) with your password so I can log in as you and take a look. I am seeing little arrows on the threads I have posted in (on the little envelopes).

Thanks for clearing that up for me, that makes sense. I now have to figure out how to subscribe to each thread. I'm trying to figure that out on my own so I don't have to bother you with all you already have to work on. Thanks so much for your help and all you're doing!

same thing happened to me.... the checks mean subscription(which you know)... the default on the site is to not subscribe to them... go to User CP, and click on Edit Options, go down to the second section and the 2nd box down says default thread subscription mode, click on the drop down box and click no email notification, or if you want emails everytime someone replies to your thread choose one of the email boxes... you are now subscribing to whatever threads you write on.... now when you start replying, those threads when you click on User CP should automatically come up, if they have been responded to... if not you can go down on the left side under subscriptions and it click List Subscriptions and it will list all of them for you.... hope this helps!!

I hope that fixed it. You must have checked that box after June 2004, so your preference got rolled back to the way it was. I hope it's ok now.
