DH can fold any size fitted sheet and make it look as neat as the flat sheet. I've NEVER been able to do that.

As for shirts? I had an ex that could do a dress shirt fold. I always get lost in the middle of it. Right now DH hangs all our shirts (even my nightgowns which I have to take down and fold and put in drawers).

Tuck my chin over the edge (make sure it's tucked down as deep as your pockets), and reach out as far in front of me as I can, and fold one flap over the other, and snap it taught.

Do the same to the other side, and make sure that the long side is folded over also as deep as the pocket. pull all the pockets together and flip the secont two over the first two . Now you should have a proper rectangle to fold.
Huh? You do what? I just strip my bed, throw the sheets in the washer, then in the dryer then back on the bed. Becky

WOW! That is soooo amazing!!

I fold my t-shirts so they look like the finished result, but I don't use that method!! I am definitely going to try that when I do my ironing today!!

Oh me too! And when it's lovely and dry, I fold it to put in the laundry basket so it doesn't get wrinkled and then dump it on my bedroom floor until no-one has any underwear left and I get sick of trawling through the massive mound of laundry!

I kept this from a post on another board. It sounds much like what Denise does.

Right...I will try to explain this clearly. My mum worked in the Manchester dept of Myers for years and this is the way they folded them.

1. Stand up and place right hand inside a corner of the sheet with your finger in very corner.
2. Now work around the sheet in a clockwise direction and pick the next corner, turning the it inside out so the two corners sit neatly inside each other on your hand.
3. Now take the third corner and place your hand (which is inside the first 2 corners) inside this corner.
4. Now turn the last corner inside out and place the hand with all 3 corners inside it. You should now have the sheet folded into 1/4 of it size with all the fitted corners inside each other. Now lay the sheet on a flat surface and pat it down flat and fold into 3.

Hopefully this will now sit nicely in the cupboard.
