I mixed the rest of the kitten kibbles in with the adult ones and Sophies eating around the kitten ones so i reckon its time for "adult only!"

I always give them a big bowl of fresh water twice a day Danielle do you? because they seem to drink more when i put fresh in?!.

I must get one of those drinkwell fountains because i think that would be perfect for them with eating a lot of dry food!.

oh Sophie you are so cheeky!!!!

for now I will stay with the wet/dry food diet but see how it goes.

oh yes and I also asked him about Cedar going on to adult food - and he said its fine really as of 9 months. I know people have said this already but just thought i would let you know what my vet says.

yes they get loads of water but they are outside all day - so I assume they are drinking out there - we have a fish pond and they are constantly drinking that water.

yes I want to get one of those drinkwell fountains as well but I cant buy them here. Cedar will drink any water but Tipsy only likes fresh water and prefers it from out of the faucet - whenever I see him on the bathroom bench trying to get water out of the faucet I always refill the water bowl and he happily drinks out of the dish - but he wont drink out of the dish until this time - strange.

Oh thats good to hear about the age on kitten kibbles Danielle, thanks

They only get a small amount of wet food for breakfast then the same before bed and they eat it all. They seem to look forward to it that way with not having it through the day?!.

Oh my two love the tap as well!!

Danielle, how old is he now? I remember Sasha was in his adolescent stage for quite some time, about 6-10 mos, and then he just became his enormous self right after that. It was like a (human) male.....they can be lean and mean into their 20's, and then something just shifts in their 30's....the face gets a tad more full and the lean parts fill out more.

OK i do have a Q. I have several cats well
two are 6 month+
some are from 4-5 months
and 2 are about 3 -4 months.

Would it be okay to start feeding all cats adult when the last 2 hit 6 or 7 months of age???

Right now we dont have the money to buy 2 seperate cat food. so the are all one kitten food.

Should I keep on buying the kitten foodn until the last 2 are 9 months??

that's what i do. i let Cable have the lo-cal adult kibble, & supplement w/wet kitten food (which she LOVES!!!) - her sisters are VERY jealous of the wet food! but that way my 2 fatties don't get any fatter!

Hi Elizabeth - Cedar is 9 months. In fact the vet told me Tipsy was heavier than Cedar but you wouldnt think it by looking at them.
and Tipsy is 14 months... the vet weighed Tipsy & Cedar yesterday and their weights are just fine
I guess I am just over protective!!

oh yes I do remember when she bought that at it was at that time that I did a search for it. Tania is on the other side of the country to me - maybe if I can give her some money she can get one - I dont think she bought it online from memory.

thanks so much for these links
I cant seem to see where it states costs to Aus - but shipping is often expensive - but if Tania cant help me out I will look into it. I really think it would be a good idea to have one of these
