... who while admiring all the kitty pictures, is scouring the backgrounds to get ideas on how to decorate?

Not those magazine glossy - nobody-could-live-in-them-type-houses - but ones that people actuall live in!

Yes, I look at the home decor in the background but I can't afford to redecorate my place so I just have to admire!

I love looking at how real people decorate their homes. Most of the time, real people have to be more creative in their approach then those home magazines. Now if I could just afford to do some more stuff around here.

I think we all must do it to a certain extent! I hope that nobody looked to hard at the background of my Kitty Condo pics (before the downtime) My flat was a MESS!!

It is so good to get ideas though!!

Me too!, nothing like a good nose around someones house, but in a genuine way?!.

Where i used to live a neighbour came over for a coffee and while she was talking to me her eyes were everywhere around the house without saying anything!.

All she had to do was say something like "oh thats nice", instead of making it look so obvious?!.

My Mum's friend's husband does that and then he sits down and complains about people doing that at their flat!!

It would just be so much better to say something!!

If i go into anyones house i'll look around but i'll say something like "What a big living room this is!" or words to that effect, or if i see something i like i'll tell them.

In fact i don't know if it was one on Susie pics where she had a big china bowl and jug in the background i said "That would look lovely in my bathroom!"

I know Rockinrhonda has one of those as well but i forgot to tell her the same!

I know what you mean, I think I am like that! I love to see how people have set things out and what they have used to accessorise (sp? mind gone blank!!) a room (basic ideas to bring home!!)

Actually, I don't think I do that! I mean, I'll look in the background to see what kinda toys the kits have... to see if I can get any good ideas for stuff for Bay!

Alright now I'm paranoid
You guys will be scoping out the background, saying "Wow, I wonder when she's going to clean her house?
"

it depends whether the backrouns is eyecatching or not.
Someone had posted a pic on here before the crash and she had really nice stairs with a nice front hall way? I presumed it was an american house though. i will look to get ideas for my furnitures to get for mynext house

Not only do I do that, but if the hubby and I go out for walks in the evening I look in people's front windows to see how they decorated!
