Has your cat ever embarrassed you??

Well, this was sara's first time, and she did it like a pro! My husband came home a few minutes ago cuz he forgot something for work and he brought one of his friends.... i walked into the entry way to greet them and i was standing there talking to his friend and trotting down the hallway comes sara, with a toy in her mouth.... i wasnt paying attention till she dropped it at his feet and started swatting at it as if to say 'play with me'...
it was a freaking tampon, all chewed up, wrapper half gone...
it wouldnt have been so bad, but i didnt know this guy and he just kinda let out a nervous laugh while i confiscated the 'toy'
i think sara is really on a roll today...

no, I don't ever think Sasha has ever embarassed me. More like the other way around....most likely I've been the one to embarrass Mr. S.~~~

Oooh nooo.... I put all my personals in the linen closet in my bathroom.... So Patches and Tiger cant get them .

yep, that is where i keep mine too... guess who(my husband) left the door open when he was in their getting ready to go to work, there were tampons everywhere and q-tips and shredded toilet paper... yea, he would have got an earful had his friend not been here

LilleKat (sp?), the kitty lover from Scotland has a great story about her kitty doing something which embarassed her. I don't want to ruin it. Would someone PM her and ask her to post that story again?

During the last few years I've been embarrassed at the veterinary clinic several times.

Method #1. Shedding during the exam. Snowball and Midnight(RB) have both embarrassed me this way. I always groom my cats throughly right before I take them to the vet. It's terrible when the vet is examining the cat, and suddenly, HUGE amounts of loose fur start filling the air, and LARGE clumps of fur start appearing all over the vet's smock and on anything else the cat happens to come in contact with. (They're trying to make it look like they've never been groomed a day in their life???????)

Method #2 has only been used by Snowball. While we're preparing to leave for his appointment, we have a very difficult time getting him into his carrier. When we arrive at the veterinary clinic and start walking through the front door, he starts howling like a dog! Once Snowball is on the exam table, he clings to it and is so scared he can barely move, and large amounts of loose fur start filling the air while clumps of fur start covering the vet's smock. Finally, he never hisses at the vet until he is safely back inside his carrier. (Trying to make it look like going to the vet is a brand new experience??????)

My cats haven't, but my son stripped in church one time. I caught him before he made off with his diaper. Everyone around me was quite amused. Ah, he was naked before the Lord, what can I say?

Aww, Taylor steals tampons also, and empty toilet paper rolls...and then he also carries them around! I learned to hide them in a case after that!

Sam was playing piddy poo when the phone man was here checking the lines and swatted it right between the man's legs where he was squatting on the floor. The guy looked at me like I was a new definition of filthy letting my cat bat his business around the house.

We have a great friend that comes to visit once in awhile, and since he has back problems, he sleeps on the floor. I went in once to wake him up, and there was Fred , sitting on his chest, licking "himself." This was the first thing Brent saw when he opened his eyes with a monumental hangover.

Well, a guy I work with stopped by to drop something off one night and I had just done my laundry so it was all in the living room in a hamper. I was talking to the guy and Em comes racing through the apartment with a pair of purple undweware in his mouth!!!

I laughed it off. I don't embarass easily, but it wasn't one of my finest hours.
