Right here! :)
OK, the thing is that I was gonna order that Little Tikes kitchen I told you about ages ago. The shipping inside the US was $36, but then got up to $70 (Boy, did I regret not ordering that right away!). There is this Icelandic company that´s located in the US and ships things to Iceland, mostly big things, that cannot be shipped directly, but its very expensive. For this $99 kitchen I would pay $330 if shipped this way.
I was gonna order other things as well from ToysRus, but haven´t done anything about it, since I decited to put that kitchen on hold...and now its to late if I want to use that Icelandic company, and besides, the prize would at least tripple. And today I found out that ToysRus doesn´t ship out of the US....

So, is there anyone there who would be willing to purchase for me at ToysRus and ship to me?????

Please?

(I really need connections abroad, I SO hate the overprizing and sometimes so much lack of variety here....
)

Anyone?????

I forgot to say, that I would prefer to pay with my credid card in advance, so that the item would be allready payed for, or using any other method of sending/transferring money, and of course pay the shipping cost to Iceland and any other cost, is any.

Noone who fancies going shopping without having to spend your own money?

Pollyanna, what is it exactly you are wanting from Toys R US?

Not sure how the credit card thing would work unless you sent the #'s
and that is very hard to do with a stranger.

The only way for you to pay with a credit card is you would have to go online to either the Toys R US USA or Canada site, buy it and have the shipping address to someone here or in the USA, but then they/you would have to find a way to ship it to you... I'm not sure what you can do...

Amazon has this but I would need an international address to be able to quote you the delivery charge - it does look about $70 though. However, if you were to buy this from the US via the UK, say it cost $169 altogether - given that the US dollar is so low at the moment - we get more $$ for the pound - therefore, it would possibly be about £84.00 - hang on tho - will keep checking - its early in the morning here and brain is fuzzy thru the painkillers - its 6.30am

okay - another source for you is ebay as I have an ebay account - I have located one and sent the vendor a question - it reads as follows:

Sir - Urgent enquiry
I have a dear friend in Iceland - who is looking to purchase this item, possibly direct through me as she does not have an ebay account as I do. She would ship the $$$ to me and then I will send direct to you or make some other arrangement. Can you advise me as matter of urgency - how much shipping would be to Reykjavik please. I can then take it from there. My grateful thanks - kevfreeflight -

Thats the next thought that I had for you and if $$$ was received before 15th, they will have it in your country before xmas...

Finally as bet you are fed up with me - have contacted another vendor in the US to req rates for the same item - its about 20 hours to go whilst the other is just over 9.
Item number: 5941335277
Its on Buy it now for $89.99 to me thats (given that £1.00 = 1.89 US $) equivalant to £47.00 approx plus shipping.... unsue if you had an ebay account - if not, you are welcome to use mine.
Sorry for being a pain, I know what its like at christmas when the ankle biters want everything and a childs face is the best when it sees what santa brought.

You're very chatty today, Kev!

It seems you have it all under control! If you need any assistance, I live about 8 miles away from ToysRus, so I can help too if need be! I also have an eBay account if you are unable to help, Kev, with your appointment!

Just let me know, either of you!

I know - I was enjoying myself- looking at web sites, converting $$$ to ££ and then working out postage / transport costs. It was early and I was having fun...... my father used to tell me I was chatty - dont think I ever stopped!

Fwan - on that thought - why do petrol stations sell bar b que coal and firelighters? You go and lite one on the petrol court, cook a few burgers and sausages and there is hell to pay......for some reason, the staff get really upset

It's a toy kitchen for her son. He really likes play cooking and on another thread before the crash everyone agreed that a toy kitchen would be something he would really enjoy!

This is what I was thinking about: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...rium&n=3021221

I was also thinking about a childrens guitar, not those plastic ones, but like a real, just smaller, or a xylophone, but I havent really thought that through, at least I know I think Oliver would love those little instroments in that "Band in a box"

I havent really thought through that credid card thing either, I just thought maybe I could pay with credid card, without getting it shipped, that might not be possibel.

I have a friend who lives in a tiny village in the UK, and she sometimes an extention of my shopping fingers
Sadly (for me) she lives in this tiny village, so the variety isn´t great there
She likes to have it that way that when she buys things for me, she buys them, and shipps, them and that way we know the shipping cost, and then I buy a check or send the money right to her bank.

So, hmmm, I kinda need an extention to my shopping fingers in the US! Anyone interested?
There are so many things I like in the US, and now when the Dollar is so inexpensive....boy oh boy....Usually everything over there is less than half price here, sometimes even a third or less, but now, its even less. For ages one Dollar has been = aprox. 105 Icelandic money (crowns), but now its 62 Icelandic Crowns!!!
The newspaper today was talking about the prize of toys here and in the US, and had several examples, one was $32 in the US and the same thing costed $160 here!
