If anyone wants to list their babies to this list. I am going to see if I can find some of these threads cached somewhere. Please list your baby's name if your thread is lost and would like someone to look for it.

That is a very nice thing for you to do! I wrote to my Bear again so I don't need my old one back, but Thank you for the generous offer!

what an amazing thing to offer to do
bless you.

I can just re-type mine at a later date when I am feeling a little stronger - it took a lot out of me the time I wrote it - but thankyou for your generous offer

I thank you for the offer, but honestly, I am thankful mine are not around anymore in their threads. They will always be in my heart, and that is the most important factor for me- I would just get sad seeing Kahuna and Kabota's name popping up every now and again-

I understand that Hissy, that's why I'm not looking for any unless the people would like them back. If nobody wants their threads found, that's less work for me
I don't mind either way, just in case.

I'm not hunting down my threads for the little angel I wanted to save, or for my mom's cat, for that same reason, I don't wanna look at them.

It's mostly the ones where people wrote something beautiful like a tribute, or poems or something that I would figure someone wouldn't want to loose. I lost a poem, I never copied it onto my hard drive... I might look for it, I might not.... It was for a baby, she's gone, those were her words, so it's fitting it's gone too.

You're an Angel, Tia.. I had saved some of the single posts that you have written me during Trent's illness. Unfortunately, I can no longer click on the link to retrieve it from my favorites, because the thread is no longer around. It's okay, though. I will always remember how much of a comfort you were to me during such a sorrowful time..

Thanks Tia, I would like to find the posts about
Cleo
for me but not to repost them. It just won't feel right, it won't be the same. I don't know how to explain it.

It seems my thread was lost, and also my entire registration was lost. I had to re-register with my name.. in case anyone sent a private message and I didn't respond... I probably didn't get them.

If you could find my thread about my baby Kelley it would make me happy. I don't know, it's one of the few things I have to hold onto. I miss my baby.

I lost my young female cat, Kitty, quite a few years ago. Her bladder had become completely obstructed, and because of my lack of experience, I didn't get Kitty to a vet quickly enough, and she died in spite of the vet's efforts to save her. I use the story of what happened to her to try to help educate others about how life threatening urinary blockages are and how important it is to get the cat to a vet quickly enough. I have posted Kitty's story on the boards several times, and most recently, I posted it today on this thread. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38642

Maybe some of those who lost their threads here when the forums crashed have stories they can tell to help educate others, and hopefully, prevent the same thing from happening to other cats.

Just an idea I wanted to share...

Lorie, I do not possess your bravery. My dear, you have been through so much this year and yet you can still do this for the goodness for others. I'm a little awed by that. I struggle, still, with coming here and trying to give back everything that was given so warmly and compassionately to me. Brilliant, very special idea. Thank you.
Love,
Elizabeth
