LOL, I'm sure I have, cuz I've waved back at people and I couldn't figure out who they were. I also drove my dad's truck sometimes, and I got tons of waves cuz they wave at his truck, not the person driving.

Like if you were standing in a crowd and across the room someone was waving at a friend of their's, but you thought you were the one being waved to? Yeah I've done that. Don't tell anyone though.

Yes I have and boy was it embarassing.

I was out with some friends and saw a guy I know that was waving so I waved, then turned around and figured out that he was waving at some guy behind me...I can only hope that he didn't see me.

yes and that is SOOOO embarassing!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, I've done that. I've also waved at someone first thinking I know them (like walking down the street) and then when I got closer realized that they weren't who I thought they were. Now I don't wave to anyone unless they're 3 feet away from me and I'm positive who they are.

I have done it so mamy times, that it doesn't even embarrass me anymore. Now when I realize I don't know them I wink at them and make them think they have forgotten me!

Heavens, I said hello to someone one day because I thought I recognized her. After talking for a couple minutes it turned out we had not idea who the other person was - now that was embarrassing. My husband was with me and he laughed at me for days!

hehe yes ive done it too. I feel so embarrased if its not me and i find out because they look at me funny!
But if they dont i feel better
Sometimes it makes my day if they wave at me...

yes, all the time, me and my husband were just talking about that, he says your welcome to people all time that wernt saying thank you to him

yes i have.. i don't even wave at people i know anymore just incase...

this one time when i was maybe 14 or 15 i went to my first concert and this reallllly hot roady was motioning like crazy and moving his lips but you couldn't understand what he was saying because the music was so loud.. He was like 28 and I didn't even have boobs yet and I was convinced it was love. So I started mouthing "I can't understand you".. but then the sound guy who was behind me asked me to move so he can talk to the guy.. ugh. I was so embarrassed I wanted to crawl into a hole..

Yes, I've done it. Makes you feel like such a dork.
