Hissy said she felt as if she was in mourning....so much lost.... it's hard to see the light. MyRage brought up the positives. We must move forward. We must. So many beloved threads and stories and --even people-- just disappeared and hard to replace again just the way they were. Personal Living Dairies.
I sat on the edge of my bed and just thought about LIFE the past 5 months, and I thought what would I be right now if I had the chance to take it all away? Would I do it? Some of us have had bad luck, losses, deaths, loss of jobs, and some have fallen for people, broken up, been angry, made huge decisions, and made choices that have changed our paths in life
and now,
...............If you had the chance, would you take it back, now having some hindsight I wonder??...how has the past 5 months affected your life?

That's a great question... however I didn't even have to think about it...

I would never want to take those 5 months back! I mean, I've had my ups and downs over the past 5 months, same as everyone else... but 5 months ago I didn't have Baylee in my life (
), my boyfriend and I weren't as close as we are now (
), and I'd still be working part-time at my job, struggling to make ends meet (3 months ago I got promoted to full-time
).

It's an interesting thought, but I have had so much good happen in those 5 months!

I've had a pretty good 5 months really!. I've moved on since my boyfriend and i split last year, i've had a 6% rise last month, i've started to get my figure back to the way it was 3 year ago!
, and made some more brilliant friends on TCS.

If i could take anything back from the past 5 months its any trauma and upset that people here on the site have went through!.

No I would never take back the last 5 months. Yesterday was my 5 month anniversary married to the greatest man in the world(IMO
) .I got to meet my aunt at my wedding and see my uncle I haven't seen in years there and he gave me away.My mom came to my wedding and since she lives in Texas I don't see her very much and I miss that so that was special to me for her to be there.
I've had bad days, weeks sometimes. I've had days that I get into my car after work, just sit there and cry because I'm so frustrated at work and I want to give up. Then I get home and I see the kitties and Brad and everything is better.
Then there are the great days and weeks where the days are working out the way they are supposed to, running smoothly, everyone working as a team not like everyone is out to get them. Or even better I'm on vacation, and I'm at home, my house is in order and the world is right. Like right now. So no I'm sorry I wouldn't give up the last 5 months. I have to many memories I'd like to keep in there.

You bet! That's how long I've been on The Cat Site!!

I've re-started a couple of threads that were lost and still debating to recreate the ones for our little Alexander and sis' cat in Crossing the Bridge. Give me a while, I have to make sure I have plenty of tissues handy.

Great question, in ways I feel like I did loose the past 5 months... Here... I almost felt as if some friendships I made were missing in ways. I don't have them in my pmbox anymore. It's hard to explain. In RL though, my life, no. I've grown, learned, and made new friendhip bonds with people that I'd rather not loose. I was planning on catching up on the last couple months because I haven't been around. Now... talk about lost? I come back in a time warp, Twilite Zone...

I have wondered if I would want to go back into time and relive some of those moments over again... starting from my last entry in The Shelter Just called. I would get to watch the babies grow up. I would alread know things would work out, so I think I would enjoy them more... Unless we foreget everything when we go back... hmm... lol

No way would I take back the past five months. Of course that could be because I'm finishing up school this month
(Sorry I'm really excited at this point. I'm picking up my cap and gown this week and mail announcements so it finally feels real. Just one more paper and finishing up and project and I'm done with my Bachelor's Degree.) and if I took back the past five months, I would have five more months to go.

Other than that, it would have been nice to go without the last audit that happened at work but it has brought about some much needed change so that's good. (Now if I just didn't have to go through another one this week and next.
)

Other than those two thing though life has been pretty boring... just same old same old but it's good same old same old.

oh Jan! Yes, do re-post and re-create what you can for your babies on the Bridge. I was overjoyed to find my Sasha's tribute to Freddie on my hard drive. If there was anything I could do over, it was to re-post that one item. Personally, and I know it's hard, I hope that everyone who lost a kitty in the past 5 months can bring themselves to re-post. It's just something I'd like to see.

If I didn't have the past 5 months, Molly wouldn't be so close to me, I wouldn't have been married, Jason and I wouldn't be getting ready to buy a house, we wouldn't be trying to get our Van kitten..Jason's dad wouldn't have had surgery, and would be horribly ill again.. No, I think I'll keep the past 5 months, thank you verymuch!

Hugs to you, believe me I know JUST how you feel, I miss my Butch terribly and I know how hard it is going to be to write another tribute to him, I am going to wait until after the holidays because otherwise I will be too sad and depressed to enjoy them....hugs to you :-(

oh Carol, I think there are a LOT of people crying and maybe you just provoked some deep thought on what people had in their hands that is so fragile when life changes so fast. Bless you girl!!!

I haven't been able to stop crying over the loss of
Cleo's
Rainbow Bridge posts. I went through them a lot. It made me feel close to her, it's silly but it did. The comforting posts that others wrote are also gone. There is no way it can be reposted. I'm just heartbroken over this.

Oh everyone

I would keep the past 5 months, but change the hard times. If I never had those months I would never had met any of you. That is one thing I really want to keep. I lost the RB thread about Bear, but somehow today I went and posted there again. And something else for everyone.

It really is something though, that this happens and we are all such great friends that we are still here to share, laugh and cry.... I would never want to change that~
