I had to reregister altogether, although it automatically gave me Noni again for some strange reason. But everything else is gone - including my posts, as far as I can tell. I also can't post in IMO because I'm back at post #1, and I can't seem to locate the photos I put up of Pengy and Simon.

And Pengy's thread is gone. I am very upset about that. It was the only record I had of hers and my progress.....

Is there anything that we can do to recover some of these things? Especially the Pengy thread....and the pm's. I had several phone numbers there which I hadn't moved (I know, I'm lazy) to hard copy...

Help. Please?

Best-
Michele

If you register after June, all of your post are gone. You can;t post on IMO forum because you need 100 post and 30 days on the site. Just like everyone else you have to start with 0 post.

I just posted over on IMO, though, so that filter is down, I guess.

Sigh.

Damn, I wish I'd've kept a journal of Pengy's advances, and my advances. That'll teach me. It's not the best writing I've ever done, but still - it chronicled Pengy's life with me. 'Twas really important to me...

I'm going to go cry now.

Michelle, many of the posts are gone. We went back in time so to speak. It was either that or be offline for a very very long time as the guys manually read through code to search for data that was not corrupted. It would have been very time-consuming and costly to do. We opted for a recovery point some months back and will work on rebuilding the board-

It is appreciated that those who call this home are loyal enough to come back and start the process of rebuilding. And thankfully nothing bad has befallen any of us in our real lives, not like the hurricane victims in Florida- this all happened in cyberspace and just because the post doesn't exist anymore, does not make the memory less jaded or spoiled. You and Penguin have come a long way, and you have a longer way to go. I look forward to the new threads about this incredible cat and your journey together.

Michele, if your first post was on the IMO forum (I see 8 posts for you right now), that would explain it - the "block" doesn't seem to kick in till the second post.
I'm really sorry about Pengy's thread, and also about all your wonderful contributions to IMO!

Jimmy, maybe you should Email Mary Ann and Anne about your status.
