My cat is seriously ill and may have cancer

and I am beside myself! My Beautiful Siamese girl who is no more than 7 or 8 years, got ill on Thanksgiving. I took her to the Vet next morning with a 105 degree temp! Vet FIRST said it was a viral infection as nothing showed on her bloodwork or urinalysis. I was giving baytril for her but 3 days later she was still not eating so I took her back in. Her temp had dropped buy I asked for an exray in case she was full of poops as she had not pooped in days. Xrays showed what appears to be 3 or more masses.

The xrays were sent to a radiologist who comfirmed the masses and who will be doing a ultrasound guided needle biopsy on Tueday. She waa also rediagnosed with a bacterial infecion in her urinary tract that has spread to her respiratory system and when she breathes through her nose bubbles come out!

If you all beleive in Prayers, PLEASE I BEG you, Pray she either does NOT have cancer OR that she ONLY has cancer on her spleen and that it is a kind that can be cured or arrested by surgery and chemo!

Kotton is so dear and I truly beleive My late Minnie kitty sent her to me to ease the pain of HER death. I just dont know how to go on with my SWEET COMFORTING BLUE EYED LOVE - Saint Lady Kotton Fluff

I know the power of prayer, and I am praying for sweet, precious Kotton. This must be so very painful for you. Please know we are here for you any time and all, and please feel free to send me a private message. Please keep us updated how she is feeling and what is learned from her tests.

Praying hard for Kotton in the meantime that everthing is ok!

Heidi - I just saw this thread, I don't know how I missed it before. I'm so sorry you and Kotton are going through this. I see by the date on your initial post that she should have had her tests done by now. How is your baby doing?

I am sorry I have not been back! I was so upset I forgot I had posted here!

Kotton does NOT have cancer! Prayers do work! I took her to the Vet on Tuesday with her Peacock feather and harness so they could put them with her body when they cremated her.

She had her ultra sound and the tech came out to talk to me. She sort of rambled on so I finally broke in and asked how bad was it? She looked at me blankly for a minute and then realized what I was asking and THEN she told me Kotton does NOT have cancer! Vet could not find any masses in her on the ulta sound so they rexrayed her and did not see any this time.

She DID have pneumonia but i think that is gone too! She is eating again and is more loving than ever. I think she now knows how much I love her!
