She has an electric blanket!

I bought mom a new electric blanket as an early birthday present (December 12 she will be 76). Jasper has decided that since she is using only the underside of the blanket, he can use the top side.

So I am all alone these cold nights - until daybreak when he comes in and pesters me to wake up and feed him! (I was going to get me one this month but may have to wait until January.

Aw! I am sorry! I know how you feel though. My kitten leaves me at night and goes to hubby now. I am used to his warm body on my head at the top of pillow

Hey, I woke up with three dogs and three cats in the bed - I couldn't even move. Think getting an electric blanket would get them to go somewhere else? My wife gets up early and they all hop in when she leaves. (And some mornings it's worse!!!)

its more like i keep my kitty warm than the other way around lol!
He always sleeps on my pillow or teddy bear above my head but if the window is cold he will come under the blankets and sleep on my belly

HE SLEPT WITH ME LAST NIGHT!! HE DID!! He didn't even mind being partly covered (to keep my hands warm as I pet him). Has my man returned? Stay tuned...

Charm's Dad - Are you sure you want to give up the extra warmth?

Well, the "little" dog (45 lbs) is on a special diet and follows my wife to the kitchen, so I'm left with the other four (50 lbs, 60 lbs, 70 lbs and 110 lbs.) The 50 lb one doesn't usually jump in the bed until just before it's time to get up, but the other three are quite happy to push and shove for some space. There's a regular 3 cats that sleep with us all the time, but each of the others will join in when the mood suits them (we have 9!) I've had as many as 5 join the dogs at one time.

Here's Jake (110 lbs) and Bonnie (50 lbs - She should be about 7 or 8 lbs lighter so she's a bit overweight, but we're working on it.)

Charm's Dad - I do hope you have a king size bed...

What's the little ditty - "There were 10 in the bed and the little one said, Roll over, Roll Over. So they all rolled over and one fell out..."

I once woke up with about 10 cats lined up on my right side (I was sleeping on my left). I had the flu and was too sick to get up at the usual feeding time.

Under the cats, mostly.
Heheheh he's certainly not stupid!! He knows where it's warmest!
Poor you - you'll just need to replace him with a stuffed-toy cat and see how he likes it!
